I have recently read a few post on vacuum pumps that concern me. They are all telling me that I need to change the oil in my vacuum pump? still have brake problems!!
Make sure to fix all fluid leaks first as brake fluid will dissolve just about anything on your truck. If the fluid leak is fixed and you're happy with the performance of the booster and your still getting a spongy pedal you have to go to Ford. Cheap/best performance mods for 96 psd???
Check out the nation for mods. 15* hpop will support stage ones. Don't do the diy IdM mod, its not worth it! Spend the $300 and send it to swamps let them do they're high voltage and high frequency mods. Its well worth the money! Other than those you seemed to have the basics covered very well.- jsnyder7.3

moose injectors and pump
I'm a powerstroke owner so I haven't personally bought from Mel. How ever I did help my father with a moose pump upgrade and finally fell in love with the idi after having sold a non turbo idi to get my powerstroke. My only comment would be if you haven't driven a moose pump or used his products...- jsnyder7.3

D60 Spindle nuts different than D50?
By what you're describing you must have auto hubs on the truck. It is an odd size that is rather hard to get. You can always use the old stand by chisel and hammer to get them off (I did this once) other wise your best bet is to find a tool truck (Snap on, Mac, etc...) if you don't work at a...- jsnyder7.3
