Betcha he has his governor tweeked. You can turn the snot out of a cummins for a little while. You was turning 2000RPM but he might have been twisting that Cummins 2300RPMs.
only illegal if you get caught. As for Uship. If you don't jump on every load you can find some good ones.I was all over my GMC shipment like a chicken on a junebug when someone threw down a buck a mile.I was looking at up to 2 bucks a mile max and when they came in with the 900 bucks for 900 mile...
Yea,I missed a sweet deal myself.early 80s chevy 1/2 ton C10.Long bed,automatic,V8 base unit truck but 80K original miles. No rust, couple small dents.New tires ran and drove perfect.$500.Guy at work said his dad wanted to sell his S10 and wondered if I wanted it since I buy all kinda stupid stuff...
I think I would have started out with an standard cab or extended cab for that truck instead of a full crew cab. That is a long way to crawl to get to the sleeper.
well,I was going to offer you my unknown 6.2L to rebuild or chance to put in that truck before I realized it was last year you was looking at the truck.
Heck, send them a counter offer to sell your older vehicles.Quote them some insane number like $15,000 for the honda and $25,000 for the chevy.Or new replacement value. If by some insane means they bite buy more old cars.Hell,if it works buy a car out here and I will drive it to your place free...
Inspections? What's that?I had a fully legal F150 here once that the floor pan was a old aluminum sign, carpet was indoor outdoor blue, one Fender was caved in,engine and trans was out of a car with mechanical clutch,Pedal assembly was welded together from rebar and a hole was chiseled through the...
On the 2 tons you gotta turn the valve in the floor and hit the switch on the dash. The military setup is way overkill. They have both the selector valve so you can run on either tanks plus a transfer pump so you can run off one tank and transfer the fuel over if you want to.
Look at military parts or old Corn Binder parts from the 60s.Buddy of mine had a camper special crew cab cornbinder pickup that had dual tanks and a manual FSS mounted in the floor next to the drivers seat and door. The 5 ton military tractors and wreckers have a valve in the floor also for...
Fuel selector valve is shot. Not closing all the way common problem. You got lucky it stuck on the feed valve instead of the return line valve. When the return fails to close it fills the other tank and spits out the filler neck.
