I'm doing fine. Still have the 94, although I haven't run it in a long time. I jump on here sometimes. The more things change, the more they stay the same. Nice to hear from you.

Travis showed me the nozzle for the water injection at one of the rallies before he installed it. It looked like it had an 1/8 hole in it. I thought at the time that it looked too big for the job.
Just a thought.
I picked up an inertia switch from a ford station wagon and wired it inline to automatically shut off the fuel in case of a collision.
It's inexpensive to do.

Is the carrier bearing made in China or is it a Spicer
I put made in china on my "toy truck',Ranger, and it vibrated from 40 on up.
Changed to a spicer and the vibration went away.
Just a thought

No Offense taken,
I've had this unit on my truck for over 8 years. I use it when I have a load to start or when I just want to feel it shift with the propane turned on. I will probably remove it when and if I have the tranny rebuilt. Until that time I'll keep using it even though I'm not a...
B&M makes a shift plus which raises the pressure electrically. Has three settings, reg, I firm, and II extra firm. The shifts are firm, but I only use it sparingly.

I know you don't know me, but I've seen the senders and pickup in these tanks. It is just too much of a coincidence that both senders failed at exactly the same time. Before I changed both senders, I would definitely check the wiring before I pulled any tanks for just the senders.
All your...
The chances that you have two senders bad would be slim. It sounds like you have a broken wire before the fuel selector. If the wire is broken the gauges will peg to over full.
The pick up is a different story.

I've gone through my Haynes manual and can't find how the turn signal can affect the headlights. Is it just the left turn signal or will the right turn signal and haz. flashers do it too? Check all the ground connections in the front of the truck.
Jim
You can already run lean or rich without any mods. That is what the accelerator pedal does. Press it lightly and you have a lean running engine. Mash it down and more fuel is delivered to the injectors. If you don't have enough fuel at "WOT" turn up the pump. Even with the pump turned up you can...
I just did mine. Being a northern truck, everything is rusty. The only special tool that you need is a ball joint tool that you can get from Auto-Zone for $100 deposit. When you take it back, they give you your $100 back.
If you can get a Haynes manual, it lays it out pretty well.
Jim
Jack up each wheel and check the ball joints. It has and upper and a lower.
If these check out OK, you probably have spring sag. You could jack up the frame and let the wheels droop to see how much they have settled.

If the water/alcohol is added at the right rate, it immediately flashes to steam, lowering the heat contained in the compressed air from the turbo.
Remember that steam is not water vapor. Water vapor is droplets of water. Pure steam is a gas and is compressable.
Jim
I guess I don't know what the end result is that your looking for.
These pumps will put out more fuel than you can use, if it was just more fuel that you want.
The propane makes the burn hotter, using the diesel that was injected more completely.
Water/alcohol injection cools the air charge...
I've had two '94 IDI's. It's my understanding that the NA, the turbo and the PS were all available that year. The automatic only came on the IDI's, and the 5 speed came on the PS. My first 94 came with all the paper work and a PS manual.
Jim
I used an automatic "trickle charger" on mine when I stored it for a while. I didn't drive it for nearly a year, and left it powered up all the time. Started it right up like I'd never left it.
Jim
When the fan is on "high", the resistor pack is not in the circuit. It only affects the lower settings. It would be nice to find a higher CFM blower though.

Got back to it this morning. Jumped from the red/green to the green/red wire with a 12v light bulb between. It now charges fine, leading me to believe that it's in the dash panel, either a burnt out light or bad connection. Still have a question about the warning not to remove the dash panel...
