    If the Facet pump is electrical, put a diode ( 15-20 amp), in the Glow Plug circuit. Connect this to the feed wire for the pump. This will prime the injector pump on startup. Problem Solved.

    Check engine oil level. Keep it full. Low oil level does that also, won't hurt the motor, just your head hurts when you finally figure it out.

    Won’t shut off

    pull the cover off of the injector pump and make sure the shutoff spring has tension and arm not binding. 12 volts energizes coil, lack of 12v and the mechanism should freely move the other way.
