    So after fighting my e4od on and off for a year I finally brought it to a transmission shop that actually had any kind of ideas... the problem was the torque converter would not lockup... I tried to get ideas on forums but nothing positive came of it... so I cleaned all the wiring harness...

    Do the IDI diesel trucks (1991) have a PSOM module on/in the instrument cluster? Or is they only on the digital dashes?

    lockup torque converter

    My torque converter isn't locking up, I'm told my wire harness clip (lock, on the passenger side) is broken, I've got one ordered. My question is... what else could cause the T/C not to lockup? Does the neutral safety switch on the drivers side have anything to do with that. Thanks

    timing???

    Anyone in Vancouver Wa do timing? My problem is I sealed the timing gear cover on my '91 7.3 and did the intake manifold gasket, now my engine has a slight haze at cruising speed and a good amount of smoke at hard acceleration DEQ shows 69.% max is 50%

    I'm told that to ensure the turbo drains oil through the intake manifold valley pan baffling, that added holes are needed. When adding holes to the VP how are you all making them? How many, and are they necessary.

    Glow plug cycle time.

    So, for ever my plugs have cycle has been 10 sec. even when it's cold out. And now here latly it's gone to 15-16.5 sec. by the stop watch...is something wrong or is this an acceptable time?... it's onle been in the upper 30*s. this is on the 91 F 250 withan automatic glow plug controller...

    smoking wires

    Ok today I changed my valve cover gasket on the passanger side, the conecter shown looked like it had gotten hot, put itall back together and now the conecter is smoking, looks like the yellow wire, is that the glow plug controler wire/ when i disconectit the truck dies.. ned help ASAP.... thanks

    Does anyone know where to get the part that the fuel filter screws into with the fuel heater. and the seals for the hard lines that go to and away from it? Any info would be a big help, thanks
