borg warner sxe 366/73 .91 exh turbo for sale $650

99 just wouldnt start one day
we have seen far to many aftermarket remote start and alarm systems shut vehicles down or create large power draws. when i say shut vehicles down, i mean just shuts the engine off while they are driving. people love those aftermarket remote start,alarm systems but they have a short life...- dsrace

also, if your going to use oil additives then use rev x or archoil. both work great but archoil will mix with atf where rev x says not to. so once a year pour a cap full of the arch oil into your power steering res and that really free's up worn or weak pumps. i and several others ( obs and...- dsrace

congrats on your purchase. i too drive an e99 zf6 quad cab drw 4x4. i'm sure you have checked your alt to make sure it's working properly. if that alternator isn't keeping up or borderline then that will effect the injectors. your clutch issue......the e99's used a diff throw out arm then late...- dsrace

Is HPOP failure always sudden?
have you considered an adrenaline hpop? i swapped to one 6 years ago and it def out performs the stock one. when i purchased mine it was because it was only $50 more then the terminator rebuild at the time. the adrenaline comes on sooner and holds better pressure then stock. here is a pic of a...- dsrace

Will a GTP38R lower my towing EGTs?

Loss of power under load
i had two injectors that lost the oil o ring in my e99. sent 4 qts of oil into my fuel system on a 5 hr drive pulling a fifthwheel. went to restart and it cranked longer than normal as in twice as long. 4 qts is a lot of oil loss as stated above, it's going somewhere and needs to be found before...- dsrace

Hot EGT @ 55 on hill not pulling
if your not seeing any boost at 65 mph ( flat ground or on a hill) and your turbo spins free w/no end play then i would check the waste gate and make sure it's not stuck wide open. better make sure your ebpv isn't partially closed as well. you might want to check your fuel psi to make sure you...- dsrace

1997 F350 Dual Rear Wheel 4x4 - what shocks ?

so i watched craigslist until i found an older snap on scanner that couldn't be updated past 2005. it's no good to current mechanics but for those of us with sd's or obs they would awsome. i picked it up for $100 with all the keys, card and adaptors in the carry case. so this snap on unit...- dsrace

i actually had the throw out arm crack on my zf6. it added vibration at lower rpms. pedal felt soft and with 81k miles i decided to just put a better clutch in it as all i do is pull. repair shop recommended a puck clutch. i wish i would've went with a twin disc clutch as that puck clutch sucks...- dsrace

2003 7.3 cranks and smokes but wont start
may seem like a crazy question but have you pulled the dipstick to check oil level? if your truck is over 2 qts low it may hard start. i know i had a couple bad o rings on my injectors and pushed oil into my fuel system that ran the oil down 4 qts......truck cranked a long time but finally...- dsrace
