Why did my 7.3 not like ether today.
Preface; Did some work to the fuel system recently, ended up switching to and using the rear tank permanently, the front one rusted out. It has been doing fine till today. Today I noticed my fuel gauge was reading around 1/4 tank give or take. Thought to myself I am going to need fuel soon...- franklin2

Detailed explanation of air intrusion pathway
I am debating with a guy in another forum about the role the o-rings and caps play in letting air into the system and causing hard starting. We all know the o-rings cause it when they leak air. Hood insulation
Give me some good reasons to keep it. I had some mouse problems and pulled the clips and pulled it down. Some of the clips broke. Inconsistent power output ideas
Has anyone experienced their truck suddenly running better? I wasn't positive it was happening, till this last long trip I took to South Carolina. I loaded up/fueled up, and took off down I-81. I was reading with interest the other thread where the guy put new injectors in his engine with a old pump. Passenger side valve cover removal
Anyone have a trick to get this thing off? I took the fuel filter off the bracket, and got the valve cover loose, but I can't get it by the HVAC housing near the firewall. I was going to go ahead and take the alternator off, and then the large filter bracket, and see if I could slide it...- franklin2
