My ‘94 only had 6 bolts. When I got some camper tie downs the kit came with 8 and showed where to drill the bed and install, apparently the frame is drilled to take 8. Must have let Ford save 12 cents by eleminating them.
So l just lost my 4th slave cylinder in 50,000 miles, the last one lasted 30,000. Is there anyone making a metal one that's not going to split on the seam? Thanks
I'm running a Champion in my Jeep, which runs hot, and it lowered my temps by about 10deg and seems to be fine. I had to adjust the mounting a little but other than that I'm very happy.
I'm running the same set up your installing, you should get a pleasant surprise with the increase of throttle response and power. Make sure to set your timing.
I'm running a Champion in my old CJ5 with a 360 and it runs 10 to 15 degrees cooler than with the stock one. I had to adjust the mounting a little but it seems to work fine.
