Which are the best and/or worst Duramax years?
01-04 the lb7 r about the best they do have injector problems but u can fix that with good 10% ones now if u go newer they r better to a point like the lbz have head gasket problems the lmm is a goog motor just have to much egr bull crap it is just one of those thing picky things- mark7.3idi

Missing after Mudding
what u did was shocked the tcc and the ecm the duramax was in kinda a limp mode the trucks will re learn its self after a amount of time your best bet is to take the connectors off and put white grease in it to help and stay out of the puddles- mark7.3idi

As long as the pig is on the driver side yes the 4L80 will work if it has a solid u will need the r4100 the 4l80e has 100000 miles on it and 400 it is yours the R4100 has 1500 miles and 300 it is yours.- mark7.3idi

Found some parts at local Ford dealer
napa gold is nothing special all it is. IS a wix filter with napas name on it. Oreilly sells the same stuff for so much cheper. They have the books and the know how to find some hard to find parts. Just My 2 cents- mark7.3idi
