barely any heat in cab, seems radiator/water pump below temp as well?

Glad you found the heater issue. Just a side note regarding fans. I live in SoCal, and we get pretty hot out here, and I drive some steep mountain roads daily. I kept having overheat issues, bad fan clutch, and replaced with the heavy duty clutch, which means it is basically on all the time...

    Injector Cap O-ring Durometer

Just a coupe of things I'd like to point out. Just replaced all of my caps, rings, lines and GP's this weekend. Some of the new caps may leak, and not a cause of the O-rings. Sometimes the caps are a little "loose" and will leak no matter how many O-rings you throw at them. Make sure you save...

    A lot of centrifuge crud

Nice! Thanks for the photo's and responses. What pump is that? Looks like a belt driven power steering pump. How many PSI does it deliver? Thanks again for the reply's!

    A lot of centrifuge crud

Can you guys post pics of your centrifuge set ups? It sounds like you're centrifuging round and round in the same barrel? Wouldn't it be faster to divert the cleaned oil into a clean barrel v circulating? Then do it again into another clean barrel?

Transmission Acting up when it's Cold

Thanks for the tips!! Although frustrating, I'm not complaining much, and will take it back to a trans shop for those inspections on valve bodies and springs. Will look into those transgo's as well. Won't do trans work myself as the wizardry is a bit over my paygrade, where-as I would tear...

Transmission Acting up when it's Cold

Very similar, except I cannot pull over and simply place into Park then Drive and make the symptom go away. It will tame itself after I park it for a half hour or so, then the shift point will work a little better, but it's still too high, over 2500RPM when it wants to shift on its own. I cannot...

Transmission Acting up when it's Cold

Perfect! THX!!! Just making sure it is clear for dummies like myself. My original searches came up with a page full of cruise control switches on the steering wheel.

    FIPL, E4OD TRANS, SHIFT, FRIKK!!!!

Thanks Trackspeeder! I'm leaning to your assessment as it "seems" more electrical than mechanical. I don't remember trans issues last two times I changed out my tach sensor for a bouncy needle. Although the sticking valves seems very plausible but an unpleasantry I'm trying to avoid...

    FIPL, E4OD TRANS, SHIFT, FRIKK!!!!

I'm looking for good gouge, not back biting. All info has to be gleaned, and that post had info for others as well who may be reading. Yes, my truck is listed in the footer, but I always like the extra info because I get to learn a little more than what my original needs are.... I'm good with...

    FIPL, E4OD TRANS, SHIFT, FRIKK!!!!

Good gouge!! I forgot to mention, the tach will drop to zero every once in awhile when I take my foot off the throttle..... which freaked me out the first time it happened. Truck still running normal even when tach drops off the grid. It only happens driving in town as I pump for fuel in...

    FIPL, E4OD TRANS, SHIFT, FRIKK!!!!

Hey Burners!! SO! My trans is having trouble turning HP into guts at the rears. I'm having to throttle shift the transmission to up the gears, and it will drop down a gear at the first sign of needing to work a bit. This dilemma fades in and out. Some days it all works great, then there's a...

    FLOWKOOLER WATER PUMP

You are correct, FLOWKOOLER is a BRASS WORKS product! I'm going to call them back and see if they make the heater cores too. I've been through 5 of them in 8 years. Same problem every time.... solder on top gives out on those very thin cores.

    FLOWKOOLER WATER PUMP

Well, I had to commit to the purchase sooner than I thought. After shipping and tax, the pump arrived safely for $160.00. Now we shall see how long this one lasts v the Napa lifetime warranty pump.... which I will keep for exchange in the event this one is less than expected. The bar is...

BEEN TOO LONG! ISSUES: Facet and water pump

Hey riotwarrior! Did you receive a response back from FLOWKOOLER? If so, how do we order them for the OB group discount? I think I might need it sooner than later! Dadgummed POS is leaking more frequently now with greater quantity. It's time! Thanks in advance!

BEEN TOO LONG! ISSUES: Facet and water pump

Thanks for the welcome back riotwarrior, and the advice from all of you. I can time the IP easily, so I'm not too worried about that, also, the return lines can take 11psi easily, the IP is what we worry about over-running. Also, the Duralift has a check valve in it already because of the pump...

BEEN TOO LONG! ISSUES: Facet and water pump

Hey Fixall! How have you been? You along with Agnem, Oldtimer, and several others helped me a lot when I first came to this site. You've kept my truck running for 8 years with your suggestions and tricks! Wanted to say thank you for that!

BEEN TOO LONG! ISSUES: Facet and water pump

Nice! I will definitely be a guinea! Hopefully, it will solve the only real problem I have, defective check valves! I do like it is made in USA, and will probably buy it anyway as the replacement. Only a few dollars more than the NAPA unit. Will wait for others with some more ideas, but I like...
