    Frantz Bypass Oil Filter

    Sticking with what I know... a readily-available Baldwin bypass head($35 or so) and B164 filter. Have yet to plumb and install. May end up down on the frame rail, as the engine compartment is what it is... Worst part of the production is drilling the holes in the frame.

    As far as the VC gaskets, within the last year, I've used FelPro (solid rubber) and Victor Reinz (rubberized cork). At least in that limited time frame, I found the FelPros to seal better, racin460.

    fuel tank coating?

    The coatings on our 2003 7.3PSD E350s delaminated a couple of years ago, sending vile powder into the fuel system and starving/destroying their injectors. Heard lawsuits are in the works, as, allegedly, Ford knew of this, but didn't recall the vehicles involved.
