    Those weights, with 4.10's it'll be much better, if it's got a 3.55 rear it'll tow the same. Buy it, swap gears if needed, or get a PSD.

    Nope, still use the rear, otherwise it'll lock up your trailer brakes too fast. You can use the normal 81740, (the 81740C just ignores the pulse), it won't screw with your brakes until you lock 'em up hard enough to activate the RABS, and since mine is NFG, it doesn't affect me no matter what...

    This is why if you buy an Alpine deck (and actually read the installation instructions) it tells you it requires a dedicated fused 10awg constant power wire run directly from the battery.

    V-belts for me, I've had too many problems with serps on different vehicles. I keep an extra set in the truck, always run extra heavy duty belts, and belt dressing gets applied every oil change.
