Hood release
I busted the cable on mine years ago........ I cut the cable at the firewall and pulled the inner cable with a pair of pliers. Once I had the hood open, I cut the cable under the hood and stuck it through the grill guard intending to replace it that summer...... Did I mention it's been like that...- jwalterus

Is water in fuel common any more?
Yes it does! Currently at work I have a 140M2 and a tractor (both rentals) that are down with ice in their fuel lines. I just haven't had room in the shop to bring them in to thaw out.- jwalterus

I gravity bleed, I made an adapter to put a 1gal milk jug on top of my master (AKA a spare cap and some epoxy and a knife cut hole LOL). I think he means the $100 for the tires + $50 for mount/balance (which is still too high for me). $10/tire mounted and balanced is the norm around here.- jwalterus

Yes there's a chance, but there's a reason they aren't legal to run on passenger transport (bus) steer axles at all. Fed law says they can be used on local service trucks (like UPS box trucks) that don't go over 55mph for more than 50 miles on the first retread on a steer axle, but they can't be...- jwalterus

Steering and suspension
Check the return hose, possibly worn through where it *sometimes* rubs on the steering wheel shaft if it's flowing out as much as you are saying. :frustrate- jwalterus

Sure, put it in a drawer until you DO have a way to lift the engine and pull the pan....... It's an oil temp unit...... on an IDI....... about as necessary as a DPF on these trucks.......- jwalterus

Welding oil pan in place?

No... Just no....... Not on that suspension.... IF you insist on keeping it, upgrade to the beefier aluminum Y section in the centers on the torque bars, change all the bushings in it to polyurethane, get the large airline kit...- jwalterus

Yes, but I didn't realize we were going for super specific here. We aren't trying to tell him how to wire speakers to keep from frying an amp. LOL Bulb should be around 50 ohms on a 3 watt bulb. Combined resistance roughly 45 ohms when the bulb is lit. Bulb burned out, resistance is 510 ohms...- jwalterus
