    5 psi is good for a relatively stock setup mounted that far. I get up to 7 or 8 with ceramic coating and the pump turned up a little. But I'm running an old banks turbo

    The nitrogen part helps, whereas the turbo is compressing atmospheric air comprised of all sorts of things. Getting 20psi of flow with nos isn't going to happen, unless you meant equivalent power factor or something... too tired right now lol

    My advice only applies if they used the IDI wiring harness, but most people do. Good luck. You can make the starter crank over, glow the glowplugs, turn on the injection pump, and start the rig all under the hood (you would do the reverse of what I typed basically). being its a hackjob though...

    I have heard bilsteins were the best. I have ranchos and they seem... sporty? Probably good for offroading but driving in the city with wore out cab mounts and those ranchos make it a bumpy ride

    best setup would be turbo with nitrous to clean up any hard accel smoke. newer cams and crap make it so you dont necessarily have to shave pistons from what ive read. plus studs on the heads get you pretty high

    I would laugh at anyone who talked crap, I got a prius C that gets 50+ regularly highway and city and heard plenty of it from guys. Then I laugh my ass off at them when they want to carpool because their POS gets 10-20 :rotflmao. Back when I wanted the TDIs they were much more in price here...

    I'm sure it was a cheap hand guard and if memory serves, one of those aggressive flash suppressors pumping out a ton of lateral pressure. If I had money I'd probably jump on it, be a great setup for suppressors.
