    Gary if #7 won't clear the AC box. you can remove the top of the injector(4 torx screws) that will give you enough room to get it out.

    Brown wires are for the Glowplugs(oustide wires on each plug) inside wires are for the injectors.

    the rattle of the engine can make and break the uvch connections. check the harnesses FIRST before buying another injector. remember KISS!

    run it for a day and see if it clears up. As far as the fuel pump. The KISS programs works for PSD's too.

    My turbo doesn't make much more noise than an IDI turbo does, but on a SD they are more noticeable in the cab

    how much better does a 1st gen PSD pull??

    Mods in my sig. made my 3.55 geared PSD pull like my 4.10 geared IDI w banks turbo. Right now I tow about 7500 lb 5er, I can either tow at 60 in drive or 72 in OD. It just doesn't like 65 mph in OD. It's all in the gearing. I would want to tow anything that mine with out 4.10 gears.

    Yep you need a puller or pickle fork to remove the tapers on the joints. the nuts just keep them locked down. I'll be doing the same on mine, soon enough.
