    I think your problem is the pensacola pump. I'm not even sure their rebuilt pumps are rebuilt check out the hall of shame on them

    Napa sells recovery bottles also a local AC shop will have a few spairs laying around and a 9 dollar vac pump from hf and a cheap manifold set should do it or just pull the Schrader valve and walk away Also 97 it should be 134a

    Yeah the first lifter has a hole in it I can see with the valve cover off and a flashlight I'll post pics when I get it apart

    I run 2 group 31 batteries just Napa specials and at -20 with out the block heater plugged in she cranks just fine

    Yeah i havent had a spare minute to work on it some more yet but holding Sunday I got it pulled to tdc and everything ready to go just waiting and I have allthe specialty tools for a alh just not a brm all and allot looks pretty simple and strait forward

    I'm with wes I run 14psi of boost with head bolts not studs and have been doing so for years what psi were they running and I bet the lifted heads were due to improper install or operator error

    My 86 I have a top speed of like 60 with a t19 but I can pull anything I have a hypermax turbo a maxed out up and run like 14 psi of boost and I'll hold grades in 4th gear and I tow my 34 foot 5th wheel no problem
