Il have to check that out. Surely I could look online to see any additives. If nothing else it would be good to have available while on a trip and a hose busts and you need something cheap to gimp it home. At any rate it would be better than water.
Edit,
From what I can get from Google, it's...
Make sure they're clean and each wire is well insulated while ur in there. LOL me and wiring are like me and making french fries. Something always catches fire.-Flame Thr
This truck hasn't had insulation since I bought it. But lucky for me fire extinguishers are on hand at all times were I work.
I'm not 100% sure, but I will assume so. Well it's not so bad. Got it home under it's own power but gots lots of re wiring to do.
Stranded at work, and now found a wire beside my passenger side battery that glows as soon as I put the battery cables on the battery that will stay glowing untill the glow plug cycle finishes. Could crossing a wire to my new gp controller and relay have caused all this?
I can't verify but mine always reads 25 hot idle and 48 under load on several different manual guages. And ensuring the line is full of oil made no difference on any of them. As I am sure this is 100% incorrect due to reading 10-11 psi is normal, I'm not sure we're u would find that literature...
Lol. No jump box or any new tricks like that. Going to check the go solenoid and controle module since that's the last electrical thing I messed with. Although I did this a week or so ago with no issue, just maybe I crossed a wire. No harm checking. But seriously starting to lean towards that...
Ok so the shut-off solenoid was stuck. Got that loose and cover back on and had a bit of a runaway when I started it. Took cover back off and fidled with the metering valve and got everything how it looked wen I first pulled it off and got her started. She runs and idles fine and acts as it...
Key cylinder only releases when it's in the lock position. Tried it anyways just to be sure, but to no avail. Even wen I turn the key all the way back to accessories it changes nothing. Gp light won't even come on without disconecting batteries. I believe the not so old ignition cylinder may be...
I will do that today after work. Now with that being said, would that be related to my battery and rabs lights staying on with key off and out of the ignition? Being that it happened at the same time I don't know if that is a coincidence or if these symptoms are related to one another.
Trying to make sure I don't waste money and time on the wrong stuff here. I had to replace my ignition cylinder a while back due to a steering wheel issue. Maybe 3 years ago. Haven't had an issue till about 20 min ago. When I take my keys out of the ignition the truck remains running. I pulled...
Oh I already know how I know. 77 Chevy luv. Still wish I had that old terd. Many of lawns I mowed and raked as a kid buying and fixing that thing up and lots of time with my parents teaching me how to fix it. Now that they both just died, really wish I had never let it go
Had the 6.0 shower head two or three years now. No issues. The v notch is what the previous owner had done and had failed, but to be fair it wasn't even fuel hose. As far as spare tire mount, with the bigger tank you won't have room for it. Most of the time I'm pulling my trailers and all else...
Lol. Had a similar issue with my rear tank, so I ran it almost empty and dropped the tank and replaced it with a 38 gallon bronco tank and fabbed up a new sending unit and pickup tube.
