    I would try to figure out where the water is coming from. I replaced my wiper motor and had the cowl off, and all the seam sealer was cracked or loose

    I had to hook up my engine hoist, to get a better angle. Was at a transmission shop and they had the rear of the cars jacked way up, guessing using the weight of the transmission to slide in?

    Go to a box store and buy some clear hose 1/2" and some buckets and siphon the fuel out or drill a hole in the tank and catch the diesel in buckets.

    Pretty sure the ball is clear, like a piece of glass, i cant remember but it seam like you should be able to shake it and hear it rattle

    7.3 IDI with some issues

    It's old, and needs some love, lots of YouTube video, probably been neglected. And will needs lots of parts like a whole new fuel system. Shower heads, fuel filter, all new fuel lines, fuel tanks could be full of junk....
