    what Mike said ...I did mine---made the throttle a bit touchy so I went to 18k....didn't like it and went back to 10k then made an adjustable pot type all the way to 25k....too much work cause it will not start cold high up so you gotta remember to twist the pot back when you shut off etc...

    Mel they are 5/16- 18 x 1 inch {or7/8"} flanged head/integral washer. ....I have a couple sets around because they come in both the LUK and SB kits. I'm sure I can round up 8 of them

    If you did indeed blow the tip ----ANY liquid that is not atomized , such as water , alge etc...will blow the tip, dumping raw fuel not only in the cyl but washing down the liner and into the base oil diluting it. And no offense meant but those injectors are very finiky about what goes thru...

    There are a couple manufacturers that make a reverse cowl hood--like the ones on the Z28's :thumbsup: .... I lost the link info when my system threw a 7 last year :mad: Contact Mel [Agnem] as if memory serves, he bought a hood for one of his rides.

    YUP! IDI's do however suffer a similiar ailment....the steel lines from IP to nozzles will break off at the ends if the rubber line clamp blocks are not installed or are worn out!
