Im not opposed to a push button. But schooling everyone that would ever drive the pickup would be a pain. There are some relatively non gear headed people that get to drive ito_O
Mine looks like gandalfs! But why the heck would it cycle the glow plugs intermittently a half hour after starting when its 90 out?? Lol
Im thinking controller needs replaced or if anyone knows what tells the controller to turn on, id like to scope it out
Also that plug needs re wired...
So my volt gauge has been flickering around. Didnt give it too much thought at first - factory gauges ya know. But could see the fuel pressure drop a bit when the volt gauge dropped. And the blower motor responded as well.
The problem seemed to be getting worse. Seems bumps set it off. And...
Do know they are rated like 180hp flywheel n/a. Lol.
But they make torque.
Ive weighed 24,000 with a n/a Itll get the job done. But not the first one up a hill. Lol.
Turbo and tweeked pry 300 flywheel jp before you have to do head work. (Pry 250hp before head studs).

Algae grows in between the layer of water and layer of diesel in a tank. It plagues farmers around nebraska. Non taxed fuel is red though. Dont know what color the algea is, might vary a bit.
The remedy for an algea tank is to clean it out - like power wash it- and let it dry.

About 5 years i bought a '91 f250 single cab flatbed 4x4 at auction for $2,500cookoo
Tranny was shot
Mouse infestation
Didnt know till drive home
Fixed up n sold for $3k two years later
Id say the $2k wouldnt be terrible.
It all depends on your location also. Some places are way cheap
Actually have a diff temp gauge in a 379 pete. Ive seen 120-140 before. Never concerned me. The needle dont move till 100*.
Cant be tooo much difference o_O
Sorry my post was kind of vague.
I have a '90 f350
Bought a pillar setup for an obs
Had to cut a bunch and trim some stuff on the bottom.
Heres the finish product
Thats odd. Wonder whats going on there...
Also have you checked voltage at the pump cold and hot? Mayhaps the electric motor is pulling way more juice than it should
Could take the line off at the pump and fuel selector. Cap it at the selector. Put some air pressure or adapt to a garden hose for ~35psi water pressure from where you took it off at the pump. Should start to leak where it was sucking air. Kind of a long process, but i really cant figure out a...
Got old back on the road today! Red head installed.
Steering seems tighter pointed straight forward - i suppose its the most apt to wear. Not super offensive, but noticeable.
There is 0 play in the box. So far am pleased.
Theres a few sink holes around here, never had any give much problems though. but this was the result in the power company trenching a line right by my tail water... water must have found its way into the trench and filled it up. It was getting all wet under the pickup as I waited for...
I actually did!
But there was a tractor at the end of a log chain also in the mix.... both alxes were on the ground on the drivers side.
For a second i thought the flatbed was comming off. It went straight up a foot before going back at all.
I bet its a lot!
I can stick my head out the window if i really want it quantified lol.
Looks awesome too
Think the air lifts on the hood? Just pondering if itll break the hood latch going into a head wind
