Seat belt retractt button on door frame?
I noticed that there is a black button that can be pushed in when the door is closed (kind of the same setup as the courtesy light button for the inside cab light). I followed the wire and it goes to my seat belt base where all the belt winds up. Does any one know what the purpose of that button...- blakpete91

How "HIGH" should the high idle be at initial startup?
Wow this forum rocks! Lots of good info posted on this thread. I guess I should be more specific when I say it just starts to high idle. It actually does it only when i tap on the gas pedal and not randomly. I just need to get out there and adjust it. I have no idea why it is way out of...- blakpete91

Tac is correct no doubt. Truck is stock. I turned my IP up half a flat but it was doing this before I messed with anything. How should I go about diagnosing this or changing the high idle?- blakpete91

Almost every morning before I head out to class I start my rig up and let her warm up to operating temps before I move her. It will idle normally for the first 10 seconds then it kicks into "high idle" mode, my guess is to help warm up. It revs up to around 2100 RPMS and holds there for 5-8 min...- blakpete91

79jasper is right. There is a rubber accordion seal that goes in between the bed and the cab. Was installed in 89 and so far no leaks (knock on wood)- blakpete91

It is basically a cowboy camper and a regular full bedside camper fiber glassed together. My rear window on my single cab is gone that way I can crawl back there and sleep if I wanted to. There is a window that separates the sleeping part from the rest of the bed but i can slide it open and...- blakpete91

I haven't done anything but turn it up a quarter. Do I have to re-time her as well? Has plenty of power and I tow at 5th but the RPMs are pretty up high. Will it hurt the truck if she runs at 3K crusing speed?- blakpete91

I run around 3k at 70-75. It will do it but mileage goes way down. Riotwarrior the toyota has total chaos GEN II caddy kit up front and a giant motorsports 63 in leaf kit in the rear with Kings all around. I've got about 6K in the suspension with labor and parts.
