My oil pressure while running highway speeds (60 mph)has gone from 60psi to yesterday it was running at 70psi. Is this normal or should I be looking into something starting to happen? 1985 6.9 5speed.
That's with an empty bed. No load

Yes indeed. Now just a couple more loose ends and she will be a daily driver. Only short trips for now. Doing oil pan gasket, valve cover gaskets, and rear seals this weekend. And probably what I think are the sway bar links... I'll get a picture tmw when the suns out and post on here to find...
You were right. It was testing good 12.4 standby and 11.5 under load out off the truck. But when I put a meter on it while my buddy tried starting the truck it dropped to a whopping 4.3. That's the first one I've seen do that. New batteries and she started right up!

Plus all the paperwork that I found in the glovebox

It does have a decent turn radius. It wasnt for sale when I found it. Found out it had the 6.9 and I had to have it. After a month of "its rotting away sitting there, let me rebuild it" managed to pick it up for $1500. Got all the original papers and manuals with it too. Even the hand written...
