I second that. I had same issue. Just had to get it hot enough to start. Try plugging the heater in for a few and start it. I needed new plugs and I suggest a new controller or bypass it as I learned the hard way and went through two sets of plugs in 2 weeks time.
Also today she started driving different. Struggling. Now I did just fill up. Put some Howes in the tanks. Will recheck the injectors I just installed a few months back. Cheap eBay injectors. Hoping bad gas. But she is struggling.
Has anyone lowered a single cab dually? I don't plan on painting mine other then a new clear coat. I would really like to lower it (no bags) just lowered. I don't tow heavy heavy. Occasionally pull a car being the heaviest. Is there a spring I can use in the front to achieve this without losing...
My wife has a 98 4runner that we recently started modifying. My daily is actually my idi. I still have the Miata and BMW. But I pulled them to the wood line with the idi bc we decided we liked our trucks better
I jack up the rear end on my 85 f350 2 wheel drive dually put it in drive and reverse and I've noticed that my rear axle twist with each motion non understand there should be a little bit of play but the reason I jack the rear end up to begin with was because I was hear noise when first going...
I understand I'm good for I believe 80s-91. But I wasn't sure I could/should upgrade it by using a new model with little modifications. Having a hard time with newer models at 60bucks and older at 200. Ah well. Win some lose some
1985 f350 2wd dually. Would this shaft fit?

Welcome to the single cab crew lol. plan on lowering mine this fall when work/family slows down some. Also have other kinks to work out first. Diff just started acting up yesterday and have been correcting other issues. This has been my daily here recently.
Yes I did an alignment. I have a tilt wheel and seems to very how it handles depending on position. Not much, it's still sloppy either way but there is change.
Replaced bushings. Must be the gearbox. I'm pretty positive I over tightened it with my hopes of a free fix lol. Lesson learned. Also it's old AF the amount of travel in my steering wheel before any movement is alot. So factory wheel center straight. I'm probably 2oclock before starting to turn...
anyway of getting the metal shell out? The press I rented from advance sucks and is missing some adapters. But for now I'm at home with the truck apart. So can't go correct advance Auto right now.
Would I have 5/8 pivot bushing or 1/2"? Was ordering some parts and was not aware there were two different sizes. I just figured being 2wd I would be 1/2 but does being dually mean 5/8? I need schooling lol
