It's been raining here. So when it dries up I'll trace the wires. I started cutting the 10lbs of electrical tape the previous owner did. Once I get everything loose I'll trace them and see where they go.
This wire caught heated and melted. One is green with red stripe. Other is red. Both are wired to the same red wire running down and back towards the rear of the truck. Bought used. Not my wiring lol. Any ideas??
I have it wired as above. Turned key on and one of m old wires started melting. I seen a video and the wiring was done differently. I think 86/87 post were switched.
Can I mount the pump where the stock water separator was? This pump seems like it has more then enough pull. Is it really an issue to be that far from the tank selector?
is the Safety pressure switch that reads oil pressure and will shut off the fuel pump when oil pressure drops below 5 PSI. needed????
Safety Pressure Switch That Reads Oil Pressure
Will Shut Off Fuel Pump When Oil Pressure Drops Below 5 PSI
Thank you for the information. I will look into this when i get home from work. And yes it was doing the exact same thing. Thought it was the mech pump. still same issue. can I just remove the selector and run just one tank?
