    I've tried and liked those a lot as well. Some cheap Harbor Freight end nippers work great to install. LOL I had to file the jaws of the end nippers a bit to keep from cutting them. But sharp end nippers make them easy to cut off.

    I use this type. I get them at Ace. I use them for things up to 1". Above 1" I use those constant tension hose clamps with the spring that was posted in the pic above.

    Yes, you can use a coilover with our truck, see my #2 above. It would not be a IFS set up, it would be a solid axle link set up and the coilover would replace the leaf springs. IFS would have coilovers but no links. IFS with coilover Solid axle with link bars and coilovers.

    I've not heard that but I am definitely not an expert. You may be able to adjust the lock by looking at the knuckle and seeing a screw in/screw out adjuster. It may be fixed on the D50, I have never looked to be honest.

    One other thing I like about it, it's a big enough bowl to act like a surge tank you use to see on gas carb'd cars. If you hit a turn hard on a low tank and suck air up your intake this would allow you to still be pulling diesel since our tanks aren't baffled.
