Your pitman arm should only be able to go on/off one way. The splines are keyed between the steering gear and pitman arm (if you look closely one of the splines is "fatter" than the others). It can only go on one way without some obvious galling and force.
I would get an alignment since...
I use pipe dope that specifies it's for heating oil and gas connections. Heating oil mind as well be diesel. You get it at home Depot. They do make yellow teflon tape that is meant for gas and oil connections as well. Also at home Depot - right next to the pipe dope.
"Goop" also works great but...
New socket cleared it up. Note, when wiring the new one in make sure to wire the black to ground and not the brown wire which is very dirty and looks like it's black.
Thank you. I'm gonna tear in to it this Saturday. I'll update with my successes or failures. I scored some oem sockes so they'll be going in regardless to replace my corroded ones.
I think pro meth has a really slick set up with nozzels and solenoids all in one place.

I second ignition switch, because that is exactly what mine just did and I just replaced it to fix it. Tip: mark the old one where it sits on the column with tape and put the new one back at the same spot. It will save you from having to loosen and adjust it 900 times.
I got the probe II only because I got it for cheap. I wanted the III but they were pretty expensive. Unfortunately it doesn't come any of the additional attachments.
Side note, Ron Francis has a bunch of 1988 and earlier Ford truck stuff; all gas but I hear a bbf engine harness is very close to...
In all fairness, there isn't enough server bandwidth to cover my errors. Evidently I like to practice before getting something right the first 3 times. Plus it takes a long time to find the wrench I threw after my second failed attempt while my neighbor sees me do it from her window and shakes...
I appreciate all you do! Haha you're not looking as for as I am lol. This will be the first time in my life I've ever had extra cash to be able to do something like this; and it's been a dream.
And pedestal/drain as well, correct?
Thanks. I just got a power probe off eBay so it will be a good time to play with it this weekend and, if I'm lucky, accidentally electrocute myself! I'm an electronics moron.
Hi Wes. Was going to text you but didn't want to interrupt your family time.
Plus a bump for your business
I apologize for not getting that pedestal sent out (busy time at work) but I'm glad I didn't yet. I found the other parts to the turbo. I've got the air filter box and intake hat. Not...
I was just curious if anyone has dealt with this before (nothing in the search showed up). This is on a 87 F250. I have not checked anything with my multi meter yet but I will this weekend. Let me know if you think I am on the right track:
My turn signals, hazard, back up and brake lights...
Lol good point, I had an old scout and on binderplanet one guy upgraded the alternator to 105amp. He never put in a shunt wire at the amp meter and he burned his truck down.
Same with me but I used harbor freight crap version. Still worked though

My Ace hardware stocks the rivet nuts so they are easy to replacements.
You have to loosen the two bolts on the side of the bracket (that holds it to the pump). The holes are elongated to allow adjustment. They're all this way. It will allow 1/4 or more movement front to back. Once you push it forward and tighten the bolts back down, the unscrew the plunger. I...
I have and they have an "f" rating by the BBB.

Assuming it's the same place that you're thinking of.
Ever powder coat injector lines? I thought about it but I need to keep a couple spots bare for timing. Every time I've painted the lines they get messed up with I unscrew the nut.
No, completely different. However, you can buy a mechanical p pump for your powerstroke...think the kit runs $20k from hypermax.
Edit: $11.9k

Shaves a certain amount off each side so they fit in the crank journals. Only reason is they are like the idit rods (33mm wrist pin?) but way more availability.
100% agree with you concerning R&D. I think it's the best engineered kit out there especially for those of us who don't have time to install and pull the engine the required amount of time to get it all fabricated and done correctly.
Hahaha I don't mainly because it was all off the shelf - R&D stage 1 and omega moose pump. None of it is "mine". All I did was a cut and turn on a Powerstroke down pipe and reweld. I did weld my own intake manifold but against it was just a copy of the work R&D did. That just took an extra...
