New Clutch = Lots of Vibration
BRW, those engine mounts are quite resiliant......have you checked the rear crossmember mount? How did you remove the rear crossmember? There are 12 bolts total---if memory serves---- for the crossmember and horns that bolt thru the member to the upper frame.....any chance one of those are...- geonc

Gary....clicky here then just get you a 250 amp MEGA fuse---about $30 ;Sweet I did this along with #4 ga wire on my old IDI after a similiar incident when those yellow wires from the fender cannon plug went Tango Uniform ...also will notice less of a load on interior lights, gauge etc...when...- geonc

Your welcome on what help I can offer :cheers: And yes...tooling is the key but there are many things you CAN do without them...such as verifyng the throttle linkage is indeed allowing the govenor linkage to travel to full fuel, as well as that the stop lever is in the run position and not...- geonc

7.3 no throttle response
For starters, just disconnect the neg cables from the batteries for a few minutes---clears check engine light. Now for the dead pedal....any previous occurrences...either while moving or just at idle? Any trash, bottles, small dogs, etc...rolling around........- geonc

First off...;Sweet score on the bus! Now on to "turned the fuel down" cookoo;Really Unless you have one of Detroits "Fuel Pincher" 92 series [with bellville washers on the high speed spring pack]---unlikely but ...... there is no real way to turn down the fuel without changing injectors...- geonc

I'm kinda surprised the lack of Jake brakes on the engine [many MCI coaches had them] {evident by very tall valve covers}...and...- geonc

How does it idle after starting? Is it easy to start...or does it chug,spit,sputter? Check the simple stuffs first....The easiest takes 2 people--one in the drivers seat and the second at the throttle linkage on top of the govenor...switch key on in run position {if equipped with elec/air...- geonc

1991 F250 4wd, rear main oil seal
hey guys, the seals manufactured in the past 10 years or so have some degree of teflon imbedded in them and do not like oil! In the past it was acceptable and necessary to lightly lube the metal surface....no longer true and will cause premature failure! Most of the oversize and standard...- geonc

Russ has good info...just a day late and a dollar short ;p That adaptor is pot metal= non-magnetic :sorry: try a bent coat hangar...fish it around and using needle nose pliers re-orient it and spray it down with brake kleen...it will no doubt distort the seal ring but a good layer of...- geonc
