DP Tuner chip install headache.....
I need to post a pic, but I will look at that for sure, :thanks: Reno! No Nick, this truck is a chip virgin! The cover cap on the PCM had some real nice tension holding it. The I take it you must remove the PCM, because I can barely see the contacts, much less any of the board/contacts :dunno- geonc

....my bud got a F5 DPTuner from a guy in TX that is less than a year old and I was "trying" :frustrate: to install it for him yesterday......-cuss Did all the nermal cleanup stuffs--contact cleaner and Q-tips, dilectric grease etc.... Seems the plug board won't seat right on the PCM board...- geonc

They advertize on here so :dunno Anyone tried them or heard good/bad about them? We had our first cold snap -mid 30's- and the WTS light kicked off after only a few seconds so I know it will need at least 1 or mebee 2. There are new UVC and harnesses on both heads so I hopefully can...- geonc

Best way to remove Oil Cooler
I'm not throwing stones here by any means, but too many people make removing the oil cooler WAY more trouble than it could ever possibly be! The entire job can be done from under the truck with no mount removal, jacking up [or off LOL] and accomplished in under 1 hr. Use a spot of spray...- geonc

Rampy, I have not had any bad issues with the 203 stat nor the CAT ELC I have been running for the past 5 years/180 k mi ;Sweet I got the stat from I believe Bob Riley before he went hollywood :D- geonc

Wire welder conversion
Looks sweet! Didn't notice any settings for burn back? Is the amp range limited to the DC stick machine you connect it to---ie: say a Lincoln 225 buzz box etc....? Judging from the one pic where you have the stinger from the stick welder connected to the power lug, can it also just direct...- geonc

broke exhaust manifold bolt
Just the head? Slim chance a good soak with PBlaster or Pyrol along with an angle drill....otherwise....pull the manifold and apply some heat while using some vise grips. Don't forget to also do the up pipe donughts!- geonc

It's 1/8 NPT {pipe thread} IMVHO ---do not plug it! Just run a longer hose. All you will need is a barb fitting and some carb/vacum vent hose from either the big box stores or local parts house. The hose can be 6 foot long if you are that worried about water getting in! But if you are...- geonc

Kinda Unhappy With G code Injectors
When you do pull the nozzles, turn them over and drain out the fuel onto a white paper towel.....if the fuel is dark that means combustion gasses are getting up past the seat...indicating either scarred {doubtful if "new"} barrel or weak seat sealing pressure...either way --builder/vendors...- geonc
