I will not work if your truck is multi V belt......If memory serves, serpentine belts began in late '92 just after the OBS body change in late '91...I have seen a few OBS with multi V belt setups..

Sounds like some under valve cover harness work is in your future! Trying to start with bad GP's overloads the harness pins and they burn......

That truck has a tool box in a 6' bed = 4' to tailgate and yes you can put a gn or 5th wheel hitch in there with room to turn.
Look closely at the 5er's that you pass on the hiway....many are 6' bed Crew cabs.....

Dwight, the up pipes that feed the turbo have doughnut type gaskets that leak and that will rob boost =low power...
Does the cab smell of raw fuel when cold started......can you see black soot trails when looking up from under the engine at the firewall?

You got the eng out allready?....remove the small cover {similiar to the IDI} and remove the HPOP drive gear nut--17 mm if I recall--

Warn premium hubs are a full turn lock, unlike some that are 1/4 turn and prone to disengage or break.
Plan to spend about $200 if you wanna upgrade! You can find them cheaper...I just posted a quick reference linky....

Sounds like an overboost/defuel default setting....judging by your description of "old"....
Not sure if I would do it on the truck..... how many miles and how many leaks? Is the EBPV still on?...The turbo could most likely need a re-build {seals/center...
