1999 F350 7.3 power stroke wont run?
you checked the fuses....double check #30...it controls the IDM and fuel heater..... If that checks out, is there any smoke/fuel smell out the exh?...if not your IPR is prolly bad.- geonc

The deal on "Moose Injectors"
Interesting concept on the tip re-design....one thing comes to mind. While more holes offer better distribution and enable a finer atomization, they also weaken the remaining area below the holes ,despite the holes being not much bigger than a hair at the amount needed. The square design...- geonc

electric fans and IVS switch revisited....
problem---- having electric fans energize when at idle to draw air over ac condensor and provide air movement when stopped in traffic.... I have kicked around using the road speed sensor to IVS signal and then realized that most vehicles with electric fans will automatically engage the fans at...- geonc

Exploded vacuum Pump
Yea..Fred Flintstone has nuttin' on us when our vacum pump throws a 7 :eek: I have only physically seen 1 shelled like that...only it was on a serp belt IDI.. Good thing you were not in rush hr traffic....- geonc

:eek: Damn the luck Mike! That job can't be that bad...buy a manual too...we are getting too old to just "wing it" ;p:D All I have to finish is replacing a broken valve spring in a '97 3.0 Taurus...if the rain will leave me alone.... Wanna do it this weekend? I'll give you my "special"...- geonc

f-450----is there enough room on those for the pan to drop without removing the eng? LPOP is in spec.....there is a check ball/spring in the timing cover that aligns with the IPR if I'm not mistaken....does he have the timing cover off?... Checking the LPOP can be done without removing the...- geonc
