WTB or Rent Diesel timing light.

went to roll my driver side window up,it went up about 2 inches and then disappeared! so I thought crap new motor time. But no. When I pulled the door panel off the crank arm had slid out of the window track!! well, after putting the arm back on the track its not going to work .the arm now...- pontoonrob

no high beams
Hello Everyone. Like the title says My high beams won't light. When I hit the foot switch everything goes dark. Replaced the switch and still the same problem. I have low beams. Any ideas of where to check next ?---Rob- pontoonrob

Hypermax cowl induction users

yep,thats where it goes. I had one in that same spot but the hood insulation blanket must have been rubbing it because it fell off.( it did take a couple of years though). I jb welded a brass fitting in that hole and ran a hose to a guage inside the cab. I bought both types of guages off...- pontoonrob

Hello everyone, while removing all turbocharger parts from my truck this weekend:D I noticed a large rivet that's holds the crossmember, front frame piece and long frame was poking out of its hole. Ok,here is my setup[they are mounted on a custom bracket and both are hooked to a fuel pressure gauge in the cab with an isolater. I have both hooked up hot and just switch the ground to activate which ever one I want.---Rob- pontoonrob

thats exactly why I like mine, even without hills it will slow down the big loads( especially my 6 ton fifth wheel) on level ground. I have to drive very carefull without it operating.---Rob- pontoonrob

Wow thats a great explanation of how this thing works. I beleive my unit must be first generation because I would manually cycle it ot clear soot on start-up. It hasn't operated for a year ,I wonder how much soot is in there now!I may just go the route of sending the unit to you if it unplugs...- pontoonrob

I am trying to find the install manual,but I don't recall any kind of schematics with it. It seems pretty basic operation as you say. I just push the red buttonand the flapper closed. push it again and the flapper would open. I never did use the foot pedal defeat after it wore out many moons...- pontoonrob

I have a us gear exhaust brake unit installed on my truck ( it came with the truck) the red push button has quit working. What is the advantage of an electric Fuel pump? Pros and cons?
or you can be like me and have TWO plumed in line. :D I have both hooked up to two hot wires and just switch the ground to turn one on. This really helped when one did fail after about a year of use.
