    yep,thats where it goes. I had one in that same spot but the hood insulation blanket must have been rubbing it because it fell off.( it did take a couple of years though). I jb welded a brass fitting in that hole and ran a hose to a guage inside the cab. I bought both types of guages off...

    Ok,here is my setup[they are mounted on a custom bracket and both are hooked to a fuel pressure gauge in the cab with an isolater. I have both hooked up hot and just switch the ground to activate which ever one I want.---Rob

    thats exactly why I like mine, even without hills it will slow down the big loads( especially my 6 ton fifth wheel) on level ground. I have to drive very carefull without it operating.---Rob

    Wow thats a great explanation of how this thing works. I beleive my unit must be first generation because I would manually cycle it ot clear soot on start-up. It hasn't operated for a year ,I wonder how much soot is in there now!I may just go the route of sending the unit to you if it unplugs...
