Never heard that. I can't find anything on Fleet Charge's website that indicates as such, either:

I've been running Fleet Charge mixed 50/50 with...
Re: Clarcor, I wouldn't be worried. As a former Clarcor employee, I can tell you they're real big on buying out companies to diversify, but they rarely get into the inner workings of the plant itself.
Didn't know you sold Stanadyne additives. I'll hit you up for next year's supply.

Wish I could find it more easily around here. The absolute quietest I've ever heard my truck run was the one time I found B20 at the pump. I was amazed how much quieter it was, actually.

Someone will inevitably point you to this study, so I'll beat 'em to the chase: http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/76-speciality-forums/64-maintenance-fluids/177728-lubricity-additive-study-results.html
I use Stanadyne Performance formula. A case of 12 runs about $75 on Amazon and lasts me...
I just bought a couple extra relays from LMC and threw them in the glove box. Knock on wood, I've head the harness installed for a couple years now without any issues.

Depends on which one you're talking about. There are two, one that runs the gauge on your dash, and another that turns on an idiot light if it gets too hot. The former is located just above the water pump in the timing cover, driver side. The latter is in the driver side head, front corner.

I really prefer not to ship this. It's not a 'lazy' thing so much as this brand doesn't exactly enjoy the best rep for their packaging and all I have to ship it in is the box the new one came in. I'd hate for someone to receive damaged goods from me.
Then again, I guess I COULD go hunting for...
Positive on that PN? I just found (and bought) a NOS part on eBay using that PN, but some googling is telling me that the PN you gave won't work for our trucks. See here: http://international4700parts.com/products/?view=product&product_id=9
Hopefully I didn't just waste $$$ on this. Not...
Somewhat OT, but I always wondered if anyone would be interested in making a little bit of side $$$ by fabbing up GP harnesses and selling them. Seriously, if someone were to fab up a good harness to use with the OEM system(s) with quality materials and good quality connections (solder...
First off, congrats on the install.
I have the sensor for my Autometer gauge (electric w/ digital readout) in the same port as yours. My truck runs a bit cooler than yours, but not by much. On flat surfaces and at low/city speeds I run about 195°±5°F, and on the freeway and/or up longer...
The two sensors are in close proximity to one another (actually connect on the same harness IIRC), but the one in the head is the sensor for the CHECK ENGINE light.
My computer won't let me post a direct link, but if you Google 'idi temp sensor' and look at the first pic (red engine), it...
Should be, but another option that many of us use (myself included) is to install it where the 'OVERTEMP' switch is. There are two coolant temp sensors/switches in the system. One controls your gauge, the other turns on the 'CHECK ENGINE' light if you start running too hot. Use the second one...
Dunno about that. A group buy maybe, but my experience with automotive forums in general is that sponsors aren't allowed to be as heavily scrutinized as any other vendor. Until these guys can get their quality issues figured out (mostly related to shipping damage), I wouldn't want to give them...
