    Batteries

Yes exactly, the air moving through will disperse heat but it does not make the vehicle think its any colder

    Batteries

I get batteries from Spalding big truck, its kind of a pick and pull type thing. $50 for a pair of good threaded top posts. Oh and just a lil tidbit, wind chill doesnt affect inanimate objects, its the affect of the wind on our moist skin

how would you build a stang diesel?

As sweet as it would be... have you seen the engine bay of a Mustang? About a foot and a half wide ha ha. Seriously though a friend of mine has a 69 with a 428 and it is tight! Stuffing even a mod motor in there requires serious sledgehammer to shock tower action.

    Compression Ratio

I was thinking something in the 18 or 19:1 range, dont know how it would like Idaho winters but I'd like to try it anyway. plug it in and if the glow plugs wont do it ether should. :kaboom:

The 6.2/5's do make their power and torque numbers at higher rpm than we do, 3600 and 2000 respectively for the 6.2. If you really want to know you could find out for us, no one else here would mind knowing although I think you'll learn that it wont be very easy starting. Imagine the guy with...

    C6 build

I knew the C6 wouldn't run the lockup but I was wondering what it would do if nothing was telling it what to do. Yea I'd love a gear vendor or something like it but they run some high dollars. Thanks for the insight on the whiplash setting on the shifts, thats was the high schooler in me thinkin...

    C6 build

Howdy all, well I think I'm finally going to get around to rebuilding my c6 pretty soon. Does anyone see a problem with doing a manual shift kit and adding the extra clutches? Not too concerned about harsh shifts I'm 18 and I'll probably love it  Also if I do a manual kit can I...

    idi performance

When I bought my truck I got all excited at the sidewinder stickers on the rear window. Asked him if he still had the motor (he was putting in a gasser ) but after digging through his parts pile no luck. I still think finding a cheap truck would be the answer, there was one on...
