    Wouldn't Start

Is it clicking with the key in RUN, or in START? The GPs do continue to run (and IIRC, they may cycle) after the WTS light goes off. Is it still cranking, or is that an issue again?

    New Electrical Issue

The front parking lights are NOT on the same circuit as the turn signals / emergencies. It's the same bulb, but two separate filaments, fed by two separate circuits. The emergencies and directionals do feed the same circuit/filament, however. There are two flashers, one for the directionals and...

Another dilemma for the electrical gurus...

Yeah, sounds like something inside the pad that provides spring tension has gone flat. Sounds $$$$-y.... Eek, thanks for the reminder of why I hope never to own a motor vehicle made in this century.....

How did you determine it was the switch, and not a sticking relay? For, er, alternative airbag deployment, visit Davidsfarm on youtube.

    Coolant sensor

One engineer wanted copper terminals. Another engineer wanted brass. This is how their boss decided. That's the "engineering reason".....

    Coolant sensor

IOW, it's not _polarized_. I would just connect it whichever way minimizes the twisting of the wires in the harness. Generally, things of this kind that are polarized, they _usually_ have the good sense to arrange the terminals in a T or some such.

    Standard Solenoid for Constant Duty

The OP never said anything about needing to switch it on and off in the cab. Hopefully no one would consider running the full current of everything in the truck on one wire going through the firewall. Put a master cutoff switch immediately downstream of the battery and call it a day. It doesn't...

    Coolant loss

You should be able to borrow a pressure test kit from the FLAPS. You put down a deposit for the value of the kit (or leave a CC number), and get it back when you return it. The other thing to test, if you're concerned about a head gasket leak, is for exhaust in the coolant (rather than...

    Standard Solenoid for Constant Duty

A simple battery cut-off switch (it could still be wired exclusive of the alternator) would be simpler and more reliable. And one less point of failure.

    Standard Solenoid for Constant Duty

Sounds like you'll be better off with a heavy-duty battery cutoff switch.

    Standard Solenoid for Constant Duty

What do you mean by "run everything"? A relay can't be a "power supply". The "power supply to run everything" is the combination of the batteries and the alternator. A relay is simply a switch. There are plenty of circuits that you do NOT want to switch off, the two most obvious being the...

    88 CCLB 4x4 C6 to ZF5

Discontinued? There's actually a replacement plate. There's a TSB for it. The original one had a lip extending forward (toward the front of the truck), the edge of which was EXTREMELY close to the oil pan, at least on the PSDs. In some cases, with enough road/driveline vibration, the edge of...

    Diesel to gas 460 swap

^^^^^ You should just swap trucks with the OP..... ;)

    Cruz Control

Fixed. Only applies to the SD. The OBS PSD has vacuum brake boost and centrifugal auto front hubs. But still no vacuum for the cruise, as there would be nothing to connect it to.

    Diesel to gas 460 swap

Wow, a 460 without OD.... You'll probably notice a particular change in the steering; it'll want to automatically turn into every second gas station that you pass......

    Glow plug relay?

^^^ Yeah, the Stancor/WR option is common for the PSDs, and certainly an option for the old-style 6.9 setup, since the relay stands alone. But physical fitment on the 7.3 IDI controller might be a challenge. Option - check into the Western Plow 56131K plow relay. Specs similar to the Stancor...

They might also be messing with your torque converter locking. Just to confirm, try swapping the tungstens back in and see what happens.
