    Vin # ?

That's one amazing cart, how it can hold that 6.9 up on that sheer cliff side.... Seriously, dang, you stole that.

    91 7.3 Coolant Change

Not that it's relevant here, but since your truck is not a Powerstroke, you might want to post in the IDI forum. (The block plugs happen to be in pretty-much the same locations on the PSD and IDI blocks.)

    Serious clutch issue

Removeable block on the pedal. Or an adjustable pushrod, adjusted so the clutch disengages as high as possible in the travel, without causing a slip. And you'd have to bypass the starter lockout switch.

    Vacuum do-dad

^^^^^ Wait, we haven't discussed the size of the pedal pad, the color of the brake fluid, or whether RABS is the greatest thing since sliced bread or the spawn of Satan.....

    Vacuum do-dad

^^^^^ +1; That's if you can find one. Unassisted brakes are almost unheard-of, even on the cheapest cars. My '89 Colt came about as "entry level" as they come, manual steering, cheap steel wheels, not even a mirror on the passenger door. But it had power brakes. IMHO, it's good practice to...

    power steering?

^^^^^ +1; and applies to ALL accessories - water pump, alt, power steering, vacuum pump at minimum, A/C if so equipped. Either use all parts from the '94 engine, or all parts from the '86. Oh wait, important question - what engine was in the truck before the swap?

Sorry; I made no mention of hydroboost.

    7.3 zf5 clutch problems

Clutch is probably shot from riding it with your foot on the pedal.

    Vacuum do-dad

As anyone who drives one of these trucks SHOULD know, that bulb is also what goes on when the hydraulic brakes FAIL. That's why it's RED. Removing the bulb could KILL someone. The OP could simply disconnect the switch and still have a light that will tell him when it's dangerous to drive the truck.

    Manual wouldnt go into gear

Wow, no one's asked the obvious question - is it leaking brake fluid or gear oil? Measurement check - get under the truck with a tape measure or ruler and have an assistant work the pedal. Measure the fork travel at the very tip end. Should be 1/2" to 9/16" minimum. If it's less, then the...

^^^^^^ Well that nixes cutting the pedal. (Gotta wonder where Ford gets some of these ideas....)

91 7.3 siezed after sitting for 2 hours?

Hmm, isn't that the same valve, wrt position, as in Al's video? More than coincidence, maybe? :dunno

    Manuel hydroboost pedal.

Or buy an auto pedal and cut off part of the pedal itself (IIRC, the wider part of the auto pedal is all on one side of the arm, "offset" from center).

Looking at a 90 F250 7.3 IDI, have 2 hours to make decision, please help!

Well the lift pump is on the right side of the engine, so it wouldn't be the source of a leak that you're seeing pooling on top. He might have some other reason it should be replaced, though. Lift pump is also not that hard to replace, it's doable with hand tools. You really should look into...

Looking at a 90 F250 7.3 IDI, have 2 hours to make decision, please help!

Yeah sorry the thread went cold; it just happens sometimes. No reason to attribute it to anything beyond that. Anyway, do you park the truck on a surface that wouldn't show a leak, gravel/dirt or the like? If so, make cardboard your friend. Lay clean cardboard under the truck, including along...

New to the site and working on diesels

The E4OD is exactly why you need the TPS (hint: what does the E stand for...). The controller needs to know throttle position to determine when to shift. With the old C6, it was done mechanically with a linkage on the throttle pivot on the IP.

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE i CAN FIND a CD ADAPTOR FOR MY 1986 AM/FM/CASSETTE DECK?

We have a cassette adapter in one PSD and an FM modulator in the other (one channel is out on the cassette player on that truck). Sound is just about the same. Again, there's a world of difference between an FM modulator and an FM transmitter.

    fuel tank over pressurized

Put some fuel in the front tank and switch to it, and see if the problem happens on the front tank as well. If it does, then it may inded be something going on "up front", with the fuel return or whatever. If not, most likely it's a tank selector issue, where it's drawing from the front tank and...

    Troubleshooting DTC P1212

That's still some hinky wiring at the PCM connector. I wouldn't be surprised if those particular wires are the among the ones to the ICP.
