    Your glow plugs should read about 1 ohm. Yours is reading infinity ohms or open. No connection to the glow plug internally.

    What do your other tires say their Load Range is? Mine were Load Range E which should do you just fine. I see you are in Boonville. Venture over the hill to Ukiah and ask a tire dealer what he thinks.

    Go with Motorcraft or Beru glow plugs only. ALL of the others are junk. They will be swollen and or break when you go to pull them.

    There is a possibility that the gear that the fork pushes is bound up. It could be many things like rust or... I would remove all of the gears and do a rebuild.

    The other thing about diesels is they need to be driven and driven hard. You need to take it out and get it hot. They are not grocery getters. They are made to haul loads. You will begin to have other problems if you do not get it hot.
