JB Weld is not a body filler. It is epoxy glue. Bondo Body Filler is what you want. It is made for what you are doing and it sands easy. Home Depot has Bondo as well as most auto parts stores.- DaveBen

I painted my truck one piece at a time
Masking is the No. 1 job in painting. Buddy owned a body shop and he would remove all masking tape and paper just after he had painted it. He would re-mask it if needed. he said to never let the paint dry on the masking. This made removing it difficult as it can rip the top layer of paint.- DaveBen

Hard start, not fuel return[?]
Nowhere on the plugs does it show "BERU". The ZD28 'looks like' Beru. These are fake glow plugs.- DaveBen

Rear differential leaking?
There are only two items connecting to the u-joint; the driveshaft and the rear end. The rear end has lube in it and the driveshaft does not. Not too hard to guess. It looks like the pinion seal may be bad.- DaveBen

Wiring Conundrum(s) II. : Brake Lights and Oil Pressure
The splice should not be an issue if it is clean. The sensor maybe the culprit. The oil pressure sensor uses ohms to show the pressure. I am not sure how it works; 0 ohms = no pressure, higher ohms = more pressure seems right.- DaveBen

Is the wire going to the gauge going to an oil pressure sensor? Is there any other wires connected to the sensor wire or terminal? You should have one wire going from the sensor to the gauge and a wire going to +12vdc.- DaveBen

I think I see your front driveshaft balance problem. The angle of the output u-joint (from vertical) and your front-end u-joint should be about the same. If not you will get some "unbalance". Shim the front end so that the input shaft is almost level or at the same angle as the output shaft...- DaveBen

I had a 86 Kenworth dump truck with an 8V92Turbo and a 13 spd with 2 speed rear end. I drove it like I was racing most of the time. I loved the 2 cycle 8V92T - screaming Jimmy! Now we can't run them in Calif...- DaveBen

7.3 IDI with some issues
Welcome to Oil Burners! No fuel coming out of the injector lines when cranking means the injection pump is bad. Anything can fail, even new pumps. Who's pump is it? Others here will chime in about this issue. There are specific pumps and injectors that are good and a lot of junk out there...- DaveBen
