    Shocks?!?

55 mph is about the speed where tire bounce occurs due to several factors like tire balance or alignment. Todays shops don't do a good job of balancing tires.

    Get the glovebox out, how?

As I remember, you remove the door stop and let the glovebox door hang down. Removing the inner box is simply removing a couple of screws and pulling the box out the glovebox door. It has been quite a while since I did this.

    starter system issues

The grounds cause more electrical problems than most people know. Cleaning the grounds is something that everybody NEEDS to do, but most won't. They will spend countless hours chasing "other" problems to no avail.

    E4OD TC engagement

You are right in what you are saying. I was trying to keep it simple with the basic needs of the TCM. This can get complicated. The TCM needs to see current flowing through the bulb and you will not see current flowing through the LED (at least not that the TCM will see).

    E4OD TC engagement

It is the difference between a light bulb and an LED. The LED is a diode and will restrict current flow compared to the light bulb.(they both restrict current but in a different way) The light bulb will have a low restriction of current compared to the LED. Check your light bulb for...

More clatter than usual on cold starts.

Read the ohms between the post and ground. It should show some resistance, like 10 ohms, if I recall correctly.

More clatter than usual on cold starts.

You hook the "ground" wire of the test light to the + post of the battery and then tough each post of the glow plugs with the probe. You should see it light up if good and nothing if bad.
