YES you need an upgrade 3G alternator. Your truck has more electrical load than you think and the current alternator is NOT keeping up with the load(s).

First off, replace BOTH batteries at the same time. What you have is one BIG battery in two places. The older battery might kill the new one soon. I don't remember the company that makes manuals for Ford. They are available for download. It is not Chilton or Hayes manuals...
You might re-think this. Re-drilling the current rotors will weaken the casting around the holes and could lead to the rotor casting failure. I would not mess with the rotors unless you have the knowledge and tools to to do this work.
