    Winch Wiring

What you have is one battery in two places. That is why they are connected in parallel (+ to + and - to -). This keeps the voltage at about 12 volts but the current is double to the starter and winch.

I had a marker bulb go out. It shirted = to - when it blew. It took several days for me to find the short. It blew the running light fuse every time I turned on the head lights. I had NEVER seen s bulb go out with a short to ground.

I have always gone from the center of the U-Joint to center of the other U-Joint for the working length. I have had driveshafts made for trucks and Jeeps. Always worked for me.

    LED cab lights on a 96 F250

When you remove the headliner, you will see the wiring (factory) spacing near the front of the inner roof. There are 5 wire holders, if I am remembering correctly. You can get the wire Factory harness that goes down the right front post and plugs in at the footwell. This makes it almost a...

Let’s make a deal - Sell me the website?

I joined Super Duty Diesel in 2005 when it was just getting started. I was there when it "died" several years back (when Shaggy bought it). I came over to Oil Burners to keep up with Ford Diesel trucks. I sold my diesel truck about 4 years ago, but I still come here, even though it is pretty...

A fuse link is just like a standard fuse. It is either OK or it is NOT. No half-way or just a little voltage. It is working or it is NOT.

Tuning a 6.0, looking for your experience

Super Duty Diesel was big on 6.0 engines and trucks until about 7 or 8 years ago. SDD died then, almost no one posts there now... That is too bad as I was one of the original mambers.

You should use a wrench to turn the crankshaft pulley nut. The belts won't be able to turn over the motor if you try to use the fan pulley.
