Need some serious help if we have any North Idaho or Eastern Washington guys..

It has a "fork" bar sticking straight forward, I will take pics when I tear it down. Like I said truck is 60 miles away and I'm just going from my partial teardown when I got the truck home, and when I replaced the case when I got the truck.

how much money is in your motors?

I have about $200 into my turbo setup and $150 into gauges. It's outrun quite a few first gen Cummins and Powerstrokes.

It is a BW case but the shift linkage only uses one large mounting hole, also I can pull the shifter straight forward and back into gears.

The base ATS kit minus turbo was given to me from them, plus various silicone boots, my studs and springs Im buying from them. They are about 35 miles from me so I hang out there a lot.

    air filter plugging up!

My factory N/A filter had a foam prefilter. A lot of times at least with Wix they will list an "HD" filter for some applications, that should have the prefilter that you can then wash and reuse on the cheap filters.

Not a very good picture, havent had time to pull it all yet, truck is 60 miles away at my friends house, closest point to the mountain we towed it off of. As to how it happened, not a situation most will be in and also probably not the smartest thing but boys will be boys. Racing my buddies...

    offroading/mudding questions

Be thankful you have a D50 front! I can break the 44TTB in front of mine on demand when I'm offroad. I have a D50TTB contraption in my mud truck and it has never had a problem up to 38.5x16 TSLs. In low speed stuff I use 1-3rd low range, never had a problem starting in 3rd. When I need wheel...

Looking for a apparently very hard to find part, havent had any luck locally. I need the aluminum adapter between a T19 and the Borg Warner T-case, I broke all the ears off mine. Closest I have found is Portland for $160, Im kinda strapped for cash lately as we all are. If anyone near me has...

    This weekend its finally time

Thought I would update you guys now that I have a few thousand miles on the setup. Takes a while, only internet is my phone. First off, I'm out of fuel, even at 10psi it clears up my smoke. Only time I have hit over 1200 degrees empty was a 30-70mph pull on a 6% grade. Towing is no...

    Is this worth $200?

Same dealer AC on my 85, dont even know if it works I never use AC

    Is this worth $200?

Yep, Im with everyone else, $200 for the whole turbo setup would probably be fair with a bad turbo, no way on the airbox and pyro

    Axle applications...

94+ Dodges are driver drop, but the axles are not very desirable due to CAD and they are coil sprung.

    This weekend its finally time

Just an update if anyone is following. Have a few hundred miles on it and have my gauges in. Cruising at 60-65 I'm running about 4-5 pounds of boost, egts are 5-600 most of the time. Highest I've got the egts as 1150, by the time it breaks 1000 Im breaking every speed limit in the country. Ill...

    ATS uppipe sealing

While I was under there for my gauges I tightened the nuts on the crossover, that was most of my issue. Oops. Still leaking somewhere down there, hard to tell though.

    This weekend its finally time

Thanks, just to clarify this is a Holset off a 5.9 Cummins on the factory setup. I'm sure there are less clearance issues with the factory turbo. I'm 90% sure mine performs better though. Never drove one with the factory turbo though

    ATS uppipe sealing

Hmm never thought of that. I would be worried about drive pressure pushing it out but its worth a shot! That was a poor design on ATS's part

    ATS uppipe sealing

I know I posted this in my turbo thread but I made a thread so more people might be able to see it. Does anyone have any good methods for sealing the slip fit on the ATS uppipe? Mine has a pretty nasty leak there. I put a bead of Acousti-seal on it when I put it together the first time. Any...

    This weekend its finally time

Anyone know any secrets to getting the ATS uppipe to seal? Got a fairly major exhaust leak coming from there, put some Acousti-seal on it when I put it together but I guess that didnt work. Even with the leak it blew the doors off my buddys TS chipped 97 Powerstroke :sly on a closed course in...

    Gauges

I agree with heff, Ive always used Autometer in the past. And still do in my more performance oriented vehicles. They are quality gauges no doubt about it. This time I took a chance with glowshift, couldnt justify spending almost as much in gauges as I have into the truck. We'll see how it turns...
