I'm about 2000-3000 feet higher than you during most of my driving. I think 1250 is the safe max for a short time. I know I need a turbo, I'm trying to find an hx35 or a garret from a powerstroke.
No I'm north of there, that is a mean hill though. Well I couldnt resist turning up the pump. Actually it is cooler pulling the hill now since I dont have to have the hammer down all the way up
Actually it doesnt, as hard as it was I refrained from turning up the pump till I got a pyro. Looks like I wont be for now. I hit 1300 once on the big grade heading out of town with the go pedal down
But your truck has too many mods to make a difference, and geo wasnt running a fan at all for a while. I was looking for a seat-o-the pants dyno experience.
Anyone running them? I've got some time off this week and I was thinking about heading up to the junkyard to scavenge a Taurus fan. Do you think I would see any power gains over the stocker?

From what I've seen and experienced they are good tires for the money, except in the snow as was stated. Absolutely the WORST tires I've ever seen in the snow. Actually had a pretty um... shall we say adventurous ride on them tonight since the snow decided to pick up again. This is the 36"...
At least the "See it in action" video is gone, it was a beautiful truck but Cummins powered which I thought was misleading, so I informed them. That would be nice if they kept in with the IDI stuff.
Hey thanks a ton guys! Got the RDT done today and that cured the problem. I cut the CDR apart to make a blockoff for the intake and the thing was full of oil, I dont think thats supposed to happen. Thats a huge relief that I dont have to pull the heads. And that I have my truck back!
Thanks a bunch guys, I read the RDT article today and it said a sign of a failing CDR was oil on the air filter bolt. Well there was a good bit on there. I pulled the CDR but it must be a Ford only part or something as no one within 40 miles even knows what it is. Looks like I wall to an RDT and...
