Max boost in the modern age

I'm hoping to see 20 at the least, even if I just put the H1C on

Max boost in the modern age

I know it'll have to be custom, I have an H1C and an unknown model turbo off a 3176 sittin around. I know I should just put the H1C on but hey, the other one is just sittin there.

Max boost in the modern age

So I've been going through some threads from now to a couple years ago when the max boost was 10 psi, MAX. Since some guys are running 20+ these days I was wondering if anyone had a revised estimate. Stock compression with studs and good gaskets. I'm not gonna say I'm thinkin about compounds but...

Head studs in and heads stayed on

I'm not sure how much different the exhaust housings are but the Aurora 2000 is an upgrade for the Cummins, all of my buddies with Cummins trucks run anywhere from 25-40 psi on stock H1C and HX35s.

    max egts

I run anywhere from 400 to 1000 on flat ground and cruisin up smaller hills. Lots of fuel+no air+high elevation dont work for me

I bet it spools like right now though :peelout

1320Cummins, thats cause you have still an HY still -Flame Thr. My buddy has pegged his 1500° gauge with nothing bad yet. My IDI hits (dont shoot) 1300° pretty often and I'll make sure to take pics of the pistons when I get my new engine ready to drop in.

    Really High Reving

Think of a way to use the fuel we have and keep the heads on before thinking we need more fuel

    Really High Reving

Put it on the governer and let it eat is my way of thinking. A 6.2 governer spring should get you about 4k, a 5.7 gm should be about 4400 :fan::sly

    K&N air filter?

This is what I run, I'll probably get a taller element and a pre-filter down the road

Shift Knob Came Right Off In My Hand!

Ya wanna screw that thing back on there Earl? Oh by the way was it a chromium-plated, fully-illuminated genuine accessory shift knob?

    Fuel Mileage

The detroits were built for economy, our engines are heavy duty engines in a light truck

    taping for pyro

Actually a 1/8 npt tap is pretty large, a 1/4 npt tap requires a 7/16 hole

    taping for pyro

I put mine in the driver side exhaust manifold. By the way I like the way the autometer mounts the probe better than the isspro. Maybe its cause the last isspro I did didnt come with the compression fitting

    Fuel Mileage

With a c6 and 3.55's I get about 14mpg. I think they are 3.55's judging by the kids on trikes that beat me off stop lights. This is with 33's, pump turned up and I drive it like a Detroit.

    camper disapointment

You have straight pipes and you dont take it above 3k? Your missin out man, put'er on the governor in every gear! And just on the subject my truck will barely do 60 on big hills unloaded.

    Anyone have spare injector lines?

I've got a full set on one of my spare pumps.

    MPG of an IDI

Bad.... at least for mine. It could just seem bad since I need to replace the pickups in the tank so I try to keep it above quarter tank. That and the rear tank is a little smallish... and I drive like an asshole :D Edit: I havent checked actual mileage, kinda scared too. My truck has 3.54's...

    turbo to spool at 12-1500

I think and hx35 would work, we have more displacement and way more rpm range than a Cummins, I think it would spool

    Post Pics Of Your IDI

Hey thanks BlackDog! I picked up the wheels and tires from a buddy of mine for 125 bucks. They're pretty beefy, too bad they're 16.5's

    Procharger on 93 IDI

By the time you get a pulley small enough to build boost on that thing you'll probably be overspeeding the compressor
