One from you 5 years ago...
Its been gone over a dozen times here, might do a search on it. The one you've seen was pretty much non functional and I believe the lower intake was around $10k from BDS.
That'll have the 1.15 housing if its stock. You may be able to fab enough that it will sit similar to the Powerstroke. It wont have the spyder im sure you know since the Powerstrokes dont use an intake manifold. Might PM dyoung, I think he almost had a PSD turbo setup done at one point.
Powerstroke has around 17:1 stock not 9:1... and on a stock OBS Powerstroke theyll likely make under 20psi with stock 90cc injectors.
Edit: The 6.0 turbo is also VGT and that would just be a hassle..
What exhaust housing are you running on the HX35? Im guessing a 12cm since thats stock on most of them, an H1C with a 12cm housing sans wastegate is going on mine so im interested to see how this turns out.
Ive been lookin for this video for a long time! Used to have it bookmarked that the link has long since died. Thanks Abull! Also failed CDRs get interesting in a hurry
I cut the old CDR apart and had a small piece of sheetmetal tigged over the hole and bolted the new "plate" back on. Then used the tube that went into the block and put some heavy plastic hose tight in it and used that as my RDT.
Yup very bottom edge, its the only one you could picture coming in contact with the carpet. Not everyone wads on em as hard as me and Dyoung but it could be an issue. Ive also had one cable break and the linkage hung it wide open.
The throttle cable is very easy to replace, also on a lot of these Fords ive had to trim the bottom of the pedal, it gets caught on the floor mat at WOT. Not very fun
