Mine is stock but im kinda glad I dont have one to look at grossing 15k on a 7% grade LOL 1200 is the "safe" limit they say, ive pegged a gauge though so who knows.
So my 85 is a some sort of ultra base model, no door speakers, no holes in the cab or doors for speaker wires. Only speaker is the one in the dash which isnt functioning. Where have you guys put your speakers?
Line pressure is very important though, not sure I would call it a bandaid. Especially in a diesel application where we make the most torque before the trans has proper line pressure.
I have a Cobra Chrome 29LTD (blue illumination goes really well with Autometer Cobalts) and a Midland 79-290 (which with a small mod can also do 10 meter :sly)
Its a wastegate. This one is a 38mm Ebay special, 14psi. Just got a cheap one until I get the setup tuned in and my studs in, then will step up to a 38mm Tial at about 25psi.
My last truck had a weird short that popped up out of nowhere, turned the lights on, radio would turn off, fuse would pop for the dash lights, radio would come back on. Weird because the radio had worked fine for months before this.
Current, need to come up with a new color scheme for this since every panel on the truck needs replaced, I like the dark grey on this though.
Old truck, loved this combo
To save on power I got an El Cheapo timer from Walmart and set it to turn the block heater on at 3 to leave at 6. Its nice jumping in with the heater already kind of warm.
