    Line clamp missing

Anyone have a used line clamp they want to sell? appears I'm missing the 3 line version on 4,6,8, I have seen some diagrams on here that shows just 6-8 clamped together, is there a difference between some engines? 6.9-7.3, I don't recall when I did injectors if it was there,or I lost it or PO...

    manual tank selector valve

This was the easiest way I could find, tank 1 with return 5 tank 2 with return 6, when valve is turned in a certain direction it shuts off fuel to engine, so safety and theft prevention, have to figure out gas gage next maybe someone knows better then I.

    manual tank selector valve

I will soon put this marine grade valve in mine, you will need 1/2 and 3/8 npt barb adapters and enough fuel line to do, plan to mount below cab inside of frame, and send lever stem through floor, guessing I will have to make a stem extension also. Will try to document the modification

    Opinions on oil

Here in MI 5-40 syn. or 10-30 in the winter, rarely gets over 40 for months, think owners manual states 10-30 when below 32 for extended periods, your fine with 15-40 year round, we always plug in! 10 deg. this morning!

    New Fuel Tank Selector Valve?

I was getting tense removing and disconnecting the lines on the tanks, clips were breaking, just knew plastic lines would buckle and break or kink, plastic and rubber DO have a safe life expectancy, just like brake lines.

    New Fuel Tank Selector Valve?

I have decided to go with the brass 6 way valve, see my post, "fuel tank share", I have a C&C and have no other fuel tank options and want to use my rear 30 + gallon plastic tank, give me about 50 gallons, I figure stock lines have reached their age limit and the problems associated with there...

Draining ALL the oil from block, not just the pan?

oil in the galleys is the oil that reaches the crankshaft and cam first, if you drain it out your crank and cam will not receive oil as soon after it is started after an oil change, so essentially a dry start, old oil is better then no oil, power strokes keep at least a qt. of oil that doesn't...

    Shower head/ fuel tank share

yeap tank measurements make it around 30 gallons, problem is only 28" between frame most tanks I've seen are 30 plus wide, going to clean everything up, blow out the rear lines and try it,nothing to lose, rear tank is easier to fill on a flat bed anyways, got a hole cut in bed now to fill side...

Thanks for the clip info figured they were avail, who's t-rex? have heard about the 38 gal bronco tank swap, wasn't sure it would fit in a C&C, frame is narrower, plastic tank was special for 350s and up C&Cs from what I have been finding out

    Shower head/ fuel tank share

What ever was in there was there along time, I know it sat 3-5 years not running, I've had it just past 3 years, fuel was yellowish, and there was some water in the bottom. When we got it wouldn't start or run so we went ahead and did GP,IP and injectors only had 90 K on it so possible PO tried...

    Shower head/ fuel tank share

So I have run out of fuel a few times at a 1/4 tank, and PO said fsv doesn't work. So I get new shower head and plan to do the fix, its a flat bed so takes more time to get boards off bed then to swap part out. Much to my surprise the shower head is intact except for the small rubber check valve...

    Fan clutch upgrade...

Just to put a 3/8 rough sq. thru 1/8 probably 5- 10 min, good enough for a ratchet. Precision, a good finish, specified corner radius more $$$, find a mold making shop and give them some time to fit it in, shouldn't be over a 100$ you will need more then an 1/8 thickness though.
  22. R

    Fan clutch upgrade...

Yes, as above, drill a 3/8 tru it then file the corners out until an 3/8 ratchet/extension fits it, small triangle file or square one.
