    Check your wiring to the glow plugs(mine were broken at the bullet connector), when I first picked up my truck it would take about 30 sec of cranking to fire up after a quick rewire with some cheap crimp bullet connectors from autozone, my truck started up nearly as fast as my wife's new car.

    Have you checked the intake and cdr for oil, from what I've read in your posts and seeing your video, I think your momentary (power boost ) is from oil being burned, since engine oil contains more energy than diesel.

    X2 on cleaning the connections, or just replace unless they're fairly new, in my experience with the clicking of the glow plug controller means you have a bad bullet connector on your glow wiring harness or a bad glow plug.
