    245/75r16 came on 7700 F-150's and would work well. 225/75r16 are also easy to get a load range E tire as well. Not to go on and on about the 302 but I could never understand why people would put the carb setup on. It had no where near the low end torque that the long runner EFI manifold gave.

    I bought a new rear one from Ford a couple months ago form my '93 and I would think an '88 would be the same thing. The sending unit they sell you is for a '96 and uses a different wiring connector that is similar to an O2 sensor connector.

    I had one of the original small black ones. I used it for tuning my Mustang 5.0 and the HP readings seemed pretty accurate. I tried it in a chipped 6.0 one time and it didn't want too work very well with the bigger vehicle for some reason. These newer ones may be better.

    Really? I thought I was looking at a minimum 4" lift and some minor fender trimming aside from shimming out the front bumper. What is the minimum rim offset to help with keeping the front tires off of the leaf springs and improve turning radius?
