    Oilburners 2019 Gatlinburg Rally

Hmm..4.56s..no overdrive..37 inch tires..1 ton.. maybe we'll do some towing now that I think about it. I figure it'd be about a 7 hour drive for me in the military truck.

    Oilburners 2019 Gatlinburg Rally

This is not very far from my brothers.. and I will be attending a rally there the following weekend with my military truck.. I can bring an IDI but it may be of the GM brand..lol.. or tow it with the Ford. I promise the Chevy won't infect anybody's truck.

    What’s something like this worth?

I think I would rather have a converted IDI.. no parts issues.

    What’s something like this worth?

I don't know if it's a fair comparison... When I purchased my IDIT, the oil cooler was resealed and return lines redone and every nut and bolt including downpipe I gave 1k.I did get to hear it run, and received starter and everything.

lightweight and smallish diesel for Fox Body Ford

We had one in the company car Fleet back in the day. I thought it ran very respectable. And then there is always a isuzu.. they make some pretty cool little motors

lightweight and smallish diesel for Fox Body Ford

I always thought one of the old GM v-6 Diesel's like they used in the Cierra in mid 80s.. and that bolt pattern will accept the small bolt pattern transmissions used in S10 etc.

    Mercruiser/tdi

Okay Volkswagen guys. I've looked all over the Internet and get nothing definitive.I want to get a TDI hooked up to a mercruiser outdrive. I'm not worried about marinizing, as I probably will dry stack it. I need 4200 RPMs, and approximately 120 to 140 horse. As far as bolt pattern on the...

    Garage Purge

Also one m35 bed with full canvas and troop seats. All are in excellent shape including the canvas. You would be hard-pressed to find a nicer one. I would like $750 for it.

I also have some holset h1c turbos. I am located in southern Ohio and have advertised this stuff locally, so inventory can change at any minute.. or at least I hope so.

    Garage Purge

As the title says.. I have Cummins first gen vacuum pumps, starters, Cummins to Chevy adapter plate from the bread truck lineage, Dodge adapter plates, I also have a 46rh with a 205 case, grid heaters, injection lines, injectors and stuff that I have quite frankly forgotten about. I also have...

    Yet another diesel

As you can see, paint is chalky on rear but matches perfectly when you get the dead stuff off. Runs like a top and absolutely zero rust anywhere. Small amount of wear on the driver seat, carpets headliner everything very nice. Was underneath looking around. Built very solid with independent rear...

    Burning out glow plugs

I'm not absolutely sure but I believe they draw around 80 amps when all eight are working. That's a pretty good load on a small relay.make sure yours is size properly and it sounds like you're on the right track. Depending on battery condition, voltage drop can affect those amp readings pretty...

Running crude oil.. fresh from the wellhead

It seems to be working just fine without the extra filtering . Got about 80 barrels in the tank. Injection pump doesn't seem to mind, cold starts are the same or slightly better and the motor runs much quieter. At current prices it's about a $1.40 if I sell it. I've been taking off the top of...

    7.3 no start

I think that the factory turbo motor used a different balance. There is a lot of confusing information out there so I could be wrong. I know that the harmonic balancer and flexplate connecting rods are different.

    7.3 no start

The turbo engine that I purchased sounds great but I have no spare parts for it. I will probably source a spare engine if I ever run across one. I keep vehicles until they're done. I personally have never had a diesel engine fail catastrophically. A broken valve spring and some wornworn...

    7.3 no start

You know it's funny, other than a slight clunk it sounded pretty normal rolling over.I really wish I have done my research before buying this turbo motor. I would rather have a normally aspirated motor that has been converted to turbo. Parts are much easier to source for it if something ever...

    7.3 no start

Well, being that I am very hard headed, I gave yet another day of my life to trying to get this thing started. The crankshaft is broken in half. That is the clunking noise that I was hearing while it was rolling over. Put a breaker bar on it today.. just a guess but I would say 10 degrees before...
