R&D vs Type4 cam?
When I rebuilt my IDIT, i ordered a torque cam. I am sad to report that my butt dyno did not feel a damn difference before and after cam. Same turbo, injectors, pump and it still was the same. Won't know till I get on a dyno I guess. I ordered one during the sketchy time (late '16 early '17)...- jetfly12

I did most of these steps and I can say I am very pleased. So far in the tuning, I have punched out the pressure relieve valve, backed out the torque screw all the way, and bottomed out the "minimax" and boy did it wake the motor up! First off with performance wise, it's still an IDI and she's a heavy truck in terms of HP to weight ratio, this is why I am excited and eager to try the first heavy tow and see if it'll hold 4th gear up some steep grade and see what it does. Before and after
The new headlight assembly far better than the ones that came from factory IMO. The "cheap look" i believe is just because we are used to the modern day vehicles that have fancy looking headlights from factory! Nice truck though man!- jetfly12

When I ran 500 miles across the I70 pass and back, I was getting around 15 with an unloaded trailer and about 12 with a 4500lbs vehicle on the trailer. Towing upgrades
The reason why I run a stack is because I hated puffing some smoke into cars in traffic with the stock exhaust. the smaller diameter makes the velocity faster and if I really got on it, the smoke would easily shoot across a lane coming off a stop. All make sense! I am wanting to do the cam and the thing holding me back is I don't want to deal with cam bearings, how many here reuse the bearings? Sounds like you can't slide by reusing the hydraulic lifters, where does one picks some new ones at? Thank you- jetfly12
